Carl Esteban

Carl received his bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education in 2019 and a master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education in 2022 from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He currently works as a Pre-Kindergarten Special Education Teacher with the Clark County School District. Carl’s duties as a professional early childhood educator are to create and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum within an inclusive learning environment fit to serve the families within his community and meet the unique needs of each child. Carl is also a Part Time Instructor at UNLV where he teaches undergraduate courses related to Early Childhood Education.

Key Achievements and Contributions

In 2022, Carl was named Nevada’s first male recipient of the Early Educator of the Year award. He has served as a keynote speaker at many conferences including the 2022 7th Annual Summit on Nevada Education, the 2024 NV Early Childhood Excellence Cohort, and the 2024 NevAEYC State Conference.
