Kimberly Maxwell

Kimberly Maxwell is a math teacher at a hybrid charter school, providing a blended learning approach that combines in-person instruction with interactive online lessons. Kim developed a comprehensive curriculum using various educational platforms for multiple subjects based on state standards. These strategies and methods propelled her students to achieve high scores on state exams, helping the school earn one of a few 5 star ratings in southern Nevada.

Kim is a firm believer in providing support for students, while creating open lines of communication with families and community organizations. She is also a lead tutor for the Teachers in Library’s Program providing high-quality one-on-one tutoring.

Over 25 years, Kim has held a variety of roles beyond the classroom. She has mentored fellow educators, served as grade-level chair, department lead, and professional coach. Kim has continued her professional journey obtaining certifications in Universal Designs for Learning, Technology, and Blended Learning Models.
